First cycle session with CycleOps Powercal Power meter, so to get a baseline decided to do the FTP test from the CTS book I have Time Crunched Triathlete.
TL;DR 239 Watts
Session consists of warmup followed by 8 min sustained max effort, rest for 5 mins (should be 10 actually) then another 8 min sustained max effort.
FTP is the average of the two 8 min sessions.
