I’m going to try and start to add a weekly round up post, then hide most of the individual training log posts in a separate section, so this site is more interesting to read.
This week managed to get two 10km runs at work, and a decent brick session on Thursday, once the snow and ice had disappeared.
On Friday I also secured a place in the Jenson Button Trust Triathlon at Luton Hoo. This race is the weekend before Maldon Olympic my A Race for the season, so I will now be trying to make this my honing training for my peak. Note: “try”.
So generally would consider this a good week.
I had intended to go for a long run at the weekend of about 8 miles/14km but Saturday I really needed an lie in and Sunday I didn’t wake until 8am when Alex did.
I had a little bit of hamstring tightness in my left leg, so probably better to rest it, than stress it further.
